Multiple schools within University of Birmingham, UK, have been collaborating to develop cross-
disciplinary robotics solutions to address a variety of nuclear decommissioning problems, in collaboration with the UK nuclear industry. This work is motivated by the many difficult
problems to be addressed at the UK Sellafield site, but the techniques are fundamental and broadly applicable to other installations.
